Progressed from bar staff and head of promotions to bar supervisor then to Deputy Manager in the 600 capacity 70’s 80’s 90’s venue and recently opened 2nd room called boutique. As the only management in the venue are myself and the GM/Licensee. My job involves backing and supporting the manager, supervising all staff, making sure fridges, spirits and stock and kept replenished, changing barrels, ensuring customers are getting served quickly, change is full in each till, till price levels are changed on time throughout the night, booking in VIP parties, Being point of contact for VIP parties, issuing wristbands, champagne and customers the parties needs. Ensuring standards are kept up, including glass collectors removing all empty bottles and glasses from tables and the floor, and making sure glasses are getting washed and replenished quickly and effectively, dealing with customer queries and resolving issues. I was in charge of all promotions, including promoting the new venues opening up and travelling around the country boosting promotions for the town’s local Fever venue. This also included MooMoo in Cheltenham and selling the MooMoo privilege card.
I have organized and hosted events at the Redditch Venue that have been a huge success , I’m also largely involved helping design the flyers, create drinks promotions , offers and managing the street promotion teams to boost sales.

I was also head of promotions meaning I came up with the drinks deals, flyer ideas, themes for nights, working with the cinema to put on events, I promoted the entire town with flyers, I created a guest list and booked private parties and booked in smaller parties for customers special occasions.

I Worked here as bar staff but an unofficial supervisor. I did general bar work, staff training, promotions, promotional ideas, night flyering, day shifts involving setting up decorations for events, maintenance painting and cleaning, knowing how to make basic cocktails and work the busy bar with an extensive selection of spirits. I did the majority of the promoting in the town centre for a year as a 2nd Job, and often covered shifts at the high class Fat Cat restaurant on Solihull high street when needed as a waitress and behind their bar.
